Wadebridge Fact File
Wadebridge is located on the River Camel and prior to the bulding of the bridge was simply known as 'Wade'.
Wade was granted permission to hold a market in 1312.
The town is famous for the Royal Cornwall Showground which is the venue for the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Show.
